How did you hear about Zombie Soup?
When I visited docutech for the first time they showcased their VR games and I was very surprised that there are companies in Kosovo that creates VR Games. Therefore, I asked them a bunch of questions because I myself like games very much and programming. From that point on, I was very interested in Zombie Soup and the games that they make.
Why did you choose to become a developer?
I was from a young age very interested in games. When I was young I just played with consoles, but when I got older I started playing games on my dad’s PC. From that I just experimented with my friends by playing cracked games and then I was trying things out with hacking(script kiddie).
I wanted to understand computers better and I thought the best way is by learning to program. Then some of my friends told me there’s a training/workshop for kids to learn programming.
Four of my friends went there so I thought I should go too and the name of the training/workshop is Shkolla Digjitale and from that point I was the most interested in programing, and of course I liked the community and everything that came with it.
What was your biggest challenge so far?
My biggest challenge was to manage my time to work for all the projects I desire.
I had a lot of projects that were ongoing at the beginning of the summer. It was very difficult and I couldn’t find time to spend time with my family, friends , but then I started to manage my time by timelines and deadlines using a program named Timelinr.
After that I felt a lot better because I felt that I wasn’t wasting time, worked on all the projects I wanted and I had more free time for myself.
What are your plans for the future?
For the near future I think I will continue to learn new programming languages, participate in competitions and follow the tech news. I hope that later on I will have the opportunity to work for big companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google outside of Kosovo for the experience or I will start my own startup to do what I like to do the most programming.
